What are Transfer Partners?
Transfer partners are airline and hotel loyalty programs that accept point transfers from credit card programs. For example, Chase Ultimate Rewards can transfer to United MileagePlus, Hyatt, and many others. Amex Membership Rewards can transfer to Delta, Marriott, and dozens more.
The challenge? Transfer ratios vary. Some partners transfer 1:1, others transfer at different ratios. And the value you get from each partner depends on how you redeem—a Hyatt redemption might be worth 2.0 CPP while a United redemption might be worth 1.2 CPP.
