CPP Calculator

Calculate cents per point (CPP) for any redemption. Know instantly whether to use points or pay cash.

What is CPP (Cents Per Point)?

CPP stands for "cents per point"—it's how you measure the value you're getting from your credit card points. To calculate CPP, you divide the cash price (minus fees) by the number of points required.

For example, if a flight costs $500 cash or 50,000 points, your CPP is 1.0 (500 ÷ 50,000 × 100). If you value Chase Ultimate Rewards at 1.5 cents per point, that's a good redemption. If you value them at 2.0 cents per point, that's a poor redemption.

Our CPP calculator automatically compares your redemption value against your personal point valuations, so you always know whether to book with points or pay cash.
